Towards Winter 2012 part 8: Inu x Boku SS

Just watched Inu x Boku SS episode one and can't help but feel a bit disappointed. I know this is the type of anime that needs the first 3-5 episodes to get rolling, but I was still waiting for something... more. I love the manga, and admit that the main jitters for me in this series are from Soushi. During this first episode I did manage to get the famous jitters at Soushi's first transformation scene....

Towards Winter 2012 part 7: Ano Natsu de Matteru

The first episode of Ano Natsu de Matteru has been aired and subbed, so lets dig in to it!
I was really positively surprised when I finished the episode. This anime seems a lot like the Onegai-series (Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins), starting off in the same fashion as Onegai Teacher did.
The animation, drawing style, voicework and some flair in the athmosphere on the other hand remind me about Ano Hana!

Towards Winter 2011/12 part. 5 - Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou

Getting back in to the order of things, here it is - background info on Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou. Honestly, at first I didn't know anything about this anime, but I figured I have to watch something to fill the huge void that is dangerously closing in on me. I would already be screaming with hands over my head going "ZETSUBOUSHITA!!!" if I had no schoolboy-com after Kimi To Boku slams the door shut by the end of the season.

Right. I was originally supposed to do my entry on Danshi Koukousei No Nichijou but I just couldn't resist after seeing the PV for Another. Oh boy oh boy! I'm so excited! Its by far one of the strongest PV's of next seasons upcoming anime series I've seen. But let's cut to the chase, shall we? Hmm...
